The Okavango, second largest river in Southern Africa rises in Angola eastern highlands and after threading the Kalahari for 1000km, spills into the Delata, an area of about 14 000km in Northern Botswana. The watery fingers of the Okavango river meander over the thirst land of north western Botswana to create a vast and verdant delta of tree fringed islands and secret waterways. The water lillies are amazing sight.
